A New Paradigm for Managing Risk

This program will consider the management of risk from a range of different perspectives through collaborative and participatory research to draw on the knowledge of other professions and fields to gain a more complete understanding and prediction of risk.

This program will:

• Create a new model for contaminant risk assessment and management that will provide better environmental, health and economic outcomes

• Develop better ways to communicate with and engage communities
• Establish nationally consistent clean-up criteria for contamination and waste reuse.
